Taking God's Love into the Community

Christians in our church have long served God by loving neighbors and doing good works, but a new concerted effort begins Sunday, August 21. Following an orientation meeting to organize a new outreach effort, our church will work together to get the message of God's love out into our neighborhoods. We will work together to greet every newcomer in our communities, express God's love for them, and encourage their continued search to know God and hope through Jesus Christ.

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!”(Daily Reading, ESV)
